Tracy and Nigel

I photographed so many beautiful weddings last year. August was by far my busiest month to date. I didn’t get chance to catch my breath or share some of the truly incredible weddings that I captured.

Tracy and Nigel got married at the town hall in Llandudno and then celebrated their marriage at an intimate reception at The Old Rectory country house which overlooks the Conwy estuary. The views of the coastal sands, the Snowdonia mountains and Conwy Castle were simply breathtaking. Absolutely perfect!

Sian & Gerallt’s Wedding

On the bank holiday in August I photographed the most incredible wedding atSt Caffo’s Church, Llangaffo on Anglesey. I don’t think that Sian stopped grinning like a the car that got the cream all day. Such a wonderful day with wonderful people. The wedding reception was held in a marquee on Sian’s parents’ farm wherw the view of the Snowdonian mountain range was simply breathtaking. The weather couldn’t have been better. Who would have thought that a bank holiday in August could bring such glorious sunshine? I took so many photographs but here are just a few of my favourites.

Jayne & Alan’s Wedding

In August I had the pleasure of photographing Jayne and Alan’s wonderful wedding in their home town of Abergele. The ceremony took place at The Parish Church of St George and was followed by a reception at Abergele Golf Club. I had such a wonderful time with Jayne and her bridesmaids in the morning before heading to the church to meet Alan and his groomsmen.

The day was filled with love and a lot of laughter. It really was a wonderful day that I feel privileged to have been a part of. I wish this wonderful couple lots of love and happiness for the future and I hope their photographs bring back wonderful memories for many many years.

Emma & Craig’s Wedding

The beautiful lakeside town of Bala was the setting for Emma and Craig’s wedding. They married in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on the High Street and then made their way to the fantastic Plas Isaf Country Barns and Gardens in Corwen. Emma looked absolutely beautiful as she married her university sweetheart in his military uniform. Here are some of my favourites of their wonderful day.

Chun & Mark’s Wedding

A couple of weeks ago I spent the day photographing Chun and Mark’s beautiful wedding at Willington Hall just outside Tarporley.  Mark definitely arrived in style by helicopter as all their excited looked on.  I had such a wonderful day with all their family and friends.  Here are a few of my favourites from their wonderful day.

Laura & Gareth’s Wedding

Pentre Mawr is an 18th Century Manor located in the beautiful Denbighshire countryside and was the location of Laura and Gareth’s festival themed wedding in June. Laura and Gareth wanted a chilled out and relaxed wedding and that is certainly what they achieved. The owners Graham and Bre couldn’t have done more to make everyone feel welcome and relaxed and made sure that the day ran perfectly. The wedding ceremony took place within the beautiful walled garden at Pentre Mawr adding a touch of magic to the proceedings.  Laura and Gareth are big foodies and wanted a wedding breakfast inspired by their travels and love of festivals, so they’d recruited the help of friend and chef, the fantastic, Danny Burke from Olive Tree Catering to design an ensemble of memorable and tasty courses that everyone absolutely loved whilst the heavens opened!  The rain cleared in time for everyone to enjoy a festival style al fresco evening reception before piling into  the barn to dance the night away to the music of the amazing Mono LPs.

Loved every minute photographing this fantastic wedding. I didn’t want to put my camera down.

Here are a few of my favourites!

Nicola & Gareth’s Wedding

Nicola&GarethBlog22

Earlier this year, I photographed Nicola and Gareth’s Wedding. The ceremony took place at St Deiniol’s Church in Hawarden, followed by a reception at the Queen’s Hotel in Chester. I have known Nicola for many years and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph her wedding. She looked absolutely stunning and she did not stop smiling all day.

Here are a few of my favourites.

Kathryn and Gavin’s Wedding

In September, Kathryn and Gavin got married at the Springfield Hotel. Guests travelled from both all over the country and the world to help them celebrate their wonderful day with Kathryn’s mum travelling over from the US. After Kathryn had finished getting ready I was invited to photograph a very emotional exchange of gifts between father and daughter just before the ceremony.

Lots of happy tears were shed when the happy couple said their vows to each other with one of the bridesmaids bursting into tears because she was just so happy.

Everyone had a fabulous time at Kathryn and Gavin’s wedding. Here are a few of my favourite images that I captured during the day.

Andrea and Nick’s Wedding

I had a fabulous day photographing Andrea and Nick’s wedding on 1st August at the Plas Ifan Hotel in Northop Hall. I started the day bright and early at the hotel where Andrea and her bridesmaids were getting ready. After the ceremony the bride and groom were reunited with their gorgeous pug Zuki who joined in celebrating the couple’s nuptials.

After the ceremony and speeches the sun came out and the guests were able to enjoy drinks in the gardens before heading inside to enjoy the evening reception.

Here are a few of my favourite images of the day.

Sarah Jane & Gareth’s Wedding

Sarah Jane and Gareth’s wedding ceremony was at St John the Baptist Church in Penymyndd and was followed by a reception at Llyndir Hall Hotel in Rossett.  The weather played fair for them after the torrential downpours of the previous day.

Sarah Jane looked absolutely stunning wearing her Ellis wedding dress and did not stop smiling all day.  Their day was relaxed and laid back from beginning to end with emotional speeches and even a phone call from Gareth and his dad’s foorball hero Peter Reid!

It was difficult to choose my favourite images from their day in March but here are a few from their wonderful day!

Rebecca and Warren’s Wedding

Rebecca and Warren got married at St Michael’s Church in Brynford and celebrated their wedding with a reception at the beautiful Peckforton Castle in Tarporley. The weather was perfect and I started the day at Rebecca’s parents’ home where she was getting ready with her four bridesmaids.

Rebecca and Warren’s day was relaxed and full of laughter. Following the wedding ceremony everyone made their way to Peckforton Castle to enjoy pimms in the sunshine before making their way into the beautifully decorated Drawing Room to enjoy the speeches and a delicious wedding breakfast.

I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with Rebecca, Warren and their friends and family. Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.
