Shropshire Wedding Photographer at Iscoyd Park. Whitchurch, Shropshire

If you want to celebrate your wedding at a private country house with beautiful gardens, look no further than Iscoyd Park. This impressive country house is set in scenic grounds on the outskirts of Whitchurch and it is one of my favourite wedding venues in Shropshire. With its grand interiors and manicured grounds, there’s no shortage of photo opportunities here. It was the perfect wedding venue for the marriage of the most lovely couple, Pippa and Andrew, and I was there to capture it all!

It’s always an honour to photograph a couple’s special day, and I was thrilled when the lovely Pippa contacted me via Instagram to book me as her wedding photographer. She was so friendly every time we spoke, so I knew this was going to be a very special wedding. I wasn’t disappointed; Pippa and Andrew’s day was spectacular from start to finish. I arrived at the venue in the morning and was treated to the warmest welcome from Pippa and her bridesmaids. We had so much fun capturing the anticipation and excitement of the big day ahead as they got ready.

I left the Pippa and her bridesmaids to join Andrew and his groomsmen in the library, where we opted for some relaxed shots to create a sense of calm before the wedding vows. The wedding ceremony was held in the Garden Room. As the guests took their seats at 3 pm, I was reminded why Iscoyd Park is such a special wedding venue. The ceremony room is absolutely stunning! Having shared vows and exchanged rings, the happy couple led their guests out into the garden for refreshments. The newlyweds were treated to blue skies and warm sunshine, and the picturesque grounds provided the perfect setting for congratulatory conversations with family and friends.

Everyone headed into the marquee for a fabulous wedding feast before settling down for several superb speeches that encapsulated the feeling of the day. Roars of laughter filled the air as the groom poked fun at his wife during his speech. When Andrew unexpectedly expressed his gratitude for my support throughout the day, I blushed and beamed in equal measure!

I captured many memorable moments throughout the day, but my favourite was a magnificent shot of the entire wedding party standing on the terrace, waving sparklers in the night sky. It was the perfect way to capture the essence of this special day before everyone returned to the marquee to dance the night away. Looking back on the photographs, you can clearly see the love and joy everyone felt for the wonderful couple. I am so grateful that Pippa and Andrew asked me to capture their special day in a collection of bright, vibrant photographs that they can treasure forever.
