A wedding marks the start of a bride and groom’s life together, but it’s also a day on which families can celebrate their special bonds. Weddings bring families and friends together. From emotional speeches to wild dancing late into the night, memories are made that last a lifetime. At Amber and Michael’s picture-book wedding, I witnessed the true meaning of family. The strength of love and support they had for one another was tremendous. Amber’s mum, a professional florist, had arranged the most stunning flowers, and the reception was held in a marquee in the garden of Michael’s family home.

When I heard Amber and Michael had invited 120 guests to their wedding, I knew it was going to be an exciting event. I was in awe as I entered Amber’s family home, as I was greeted by beautiful blooms arranged with love and care by her mum. The fragrance that filled the air was incredible! It was touching to meet Amber in her childhood bedroom. I could tell this family was very close, and everyone was doing everything they could to make Amber and Michael’s wedding day as special as possible.

Amber was a gorgeous bride, and I knew she would take Michael’s breath away when we arrived at St. Dunawd’s Church in Bangor-on-Dee. The traditional ceremony was absolutely lovely and the newlyweds looked so happy together. The reception was held in a stylish marquee set up in the garden of Michael’s family home. His
sisters had their wedding receptions there, so it was now his turn to continue the tradition. The floral arrangements and twinkling lights created the perfect backdrop for a spectacular wedding cake. This magnificent centrepiece had been skilfully crafted by a talented family friend. It was a mouth-watering work of art!

The speeches were excellent, and almost everyone at the top table had some moving words to say. The mother of the bride stole the show when she proudly shared a heartfelt and moving speech about the couple. It was lovely to witness the love that surrounded the newlyweds on their big day. The evening guests arrived to the sound of a band playing outside in the afternoon light. Their performance produced a fantastic party vibe and everyone enjoyed a wonderful evening on the dance floor.

Even with a huge amount of guests, this wedding was nothing short of intimate and romantic. The marquee and garden were filled with love and affection, making it a day to remember forever. Simply put, this wedding was superb from beginning to end.
